Mysticon 2014

Mysticon 2014 was totally awesome and fun.
Many attendee's in costume during Mysticon convention and also for Saturdays Masquerade.
I entered master category for the Masquerade with Prowl suit and I won "Best In Show"!
Was an awesome ceremony and I got to meet John de Lancie.

Finished Travel Case

T'was the night before Mysticon, and all through my workshop . . .
Continued eagerly with my project, that I didn't want to stop.

Finished the travel case this week.
All the pieces to Prowl suit fit, and I also had room for my portable folding stool.
I had a few corner dings that I touched up with some nail polish, and did a lights check with new batteries.

Travel Case cont.

Travel case in near completion and in time for Mysticon Convention.
Painted the outside with two coats.
Attached some of the plastic outer and edge trim with the rounded corners.

Had to make minor adjustment on two of the corners, nothing a hacksaw and metal file can't handle.

All that is left is to finish bottom trim, rounded corners, caster wheels, side latches and handles.

Travel Case

Started building a travel case for Prowl costume.
Found a website that supplies hardware for building custom cases.
Caster wheels, rounded corners, handles, corner trim, edge trim, and latches.

So far so good.
I should be able to get all the pieces to fit, and hopefully in time for Mysticon Convention here in Roanoke.
